Digital Downloads and Refund Policy

Last updated: 30 June 2026

1. About This Policy

This policy explains how digital downloads are supplied and how cancellation, replacement and refund requests are handled by:

Grant Mercado, trading as Grant’s Faith Book Collection

Website:

grantsfaithbookcollection.com

Email:

hello@grantsfaithbookcollection.com

Nothing in this policy removes or limits any rights you have under UK consumer law.

2. Our Digital Products

The website sells downloadable digital books, normally supplied as PDF files.

Before purchasing, please check the product description carefully, including:

The book title and volume
Whether you are buying an individual book or a complete collection
The file type
Any stated device or software requirements
The price
Any restrictions on personal use or sharing
3. Delivery of Digital Downloads

After successful payment, your download should be made available through the website, by email, through your customer account, or by another method stated during checkout.

Please provide a correct email address and check your spam or junk folder if the download email does not arrive.

If you cannot access your purchase, contact:

hello@grantsfaithbookcollection.com

Please include your name, order details and the email address used for the purchase.

4. Starting the Download and Cancellation Rights

Digital content may be supplied immediately after purchase.

Where required by law, before immediate access begins, you will be asked to:

Give your express consent for the digital content to be supplied before the end of the normal cancellation period, and
Acknowledge that you will lose your right to cancel once supply or downloading begins

If you do not give the required consent and acknowledgement, access to the digital content may be delayed until the cancellation period has ended.

Where the required consent and acknowledgement have been properly obtained and the download or supply has begun, you will normally no longer have a right to cancel simply because you have changed your mind.

5. Change-of-Mind Refunds

Because digital products cannot normally be returned once accessed or downloaded, we do not generally offer refunds merely because:

You changed your mind
You bought the wrong volume
You bought an individual book when you intended to buy a collection
You no longer want the product
You did not read the product description
Your device lacks suitable PDF-reading software

This does not affect your legal rights where the digital content is faulty, incorrectly described or not supplied.

We may consider exceptional requests fairly and reasonably at our discretion.

6. Faulty or Incorrect Digital Content

Digital content supplied to consumers must be:

Of satisfactory quality
Fit for a particular purpose made known before purchase
As described

Please contact us if:

The file is corrupted
The file will not open despite suitable software
Pages are missing or unreadable
You received the wrong book or volume
The product is materially different from its description
The download link does not work
The content causes damage because reasonable care and skill were not used

We may ask for reasonable information, such as an order number, screenshot or description of the problem.

7. Remedies for Faulty Digital Content

Where digital content does not meet legal requirements, we will first consider an appropriate remedy such as:

Providing a replacement file
Providing a corrected version
Restoring access to the download
Supplying the correct product

Where repair or replacement is impossible, cannot be completed within a reasonable time, or would cause significant inconvenience, you may be entitled to an appropriate price reduction, which may include a full refund where required by law.

8. Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase exactly the same digital product more than once, contact us promptly.

Where the duplicate purchase can be verified, we will review the circumstances and may refund the duplicate payment.

9. Complete Collections

A complete collection may contain several digital books supplied together for one collection price.

Please check carefully before purchase whether you are selecting:

An individual volume, or
The complete collection

If a file within a collection is missing or faulty, please contact us so that the affected file or collection can be corrected or replaced.

10. Download and Device Problems

You are responsible for having:

A suitable internet connection
Enough storage space
A device capable of opening the stated file type
Appropriate and current PDF-reading software

However, please contact us if you need reasonable help accessing a valid purchase.

We cannot guarantee compatibility with every device, operating system, browser or third-party application unless compatibility was specifically stated before purchase.

11. Personal-Use Licence

Unless stated otherwise, each digital product is licensed to the purchaser for personal and non-commercial use.

You must not:

Share the file with other people
Upload it to a file-sharing website or service
Resell or redistribute it
Publish it online
Copy substantial portions for commercial use
Alter it and claim it as your own work
Remove copyright or ownership information

Buying a digital product does not transfer ownership of the copyright or other intellectual-property rights.

12. Requesting Assistance or a Refund

To report a problem or request a remedy, email:

hello@grantsfaithbookcollection.com

Please provide:

Your full name
Your order number, where available
The email address used for the purchase
The product purchased
The date of purchase
A clear description of the problem
Any useful screenshot or error message

We will review the request and respond within a reasonable time.

13. Refund Method

Where a refund is due, it will normally be made through the original payment method.

The time taken for the funds to appear may depend on Stripe, PayPal, your bank or another payment provider.

We are not responsible for delays caused solely by the payment provider after a refund has been issued.

14. Fraud and Misuse

We may refuse a request where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, misuse, unauthorised sharing or an attempt to obtain repeated refunds while keeping or distributing the digital product.

Any decision will remain subject to the customer’s legal rights.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when:

Products or delivery methods change
Payment services change
Website features change
Legal or regulatory requirements change

The latest version will be published on the website with an updated revision date.

4. Digital Books and PDF Files

Our books are supplied mainly as downloadable PDF files.

We aim to make the content clear and readable, but some PDFs may not work perfectly with every screen reader, accessibility tool, device or display setting.

Potential difficulties may include:

Some images are decorative, form part of a book cover or contain text as part of their design. These may not always provide the same experience for every user of assistive technology.

We will review important images and descriptions as the website develops.

We aim to make contact forms, mailing-list forms, shopping-basket features and checkout steps clear and usable.

Some parts of the purchasing process may be provided by third-party services such as:

We cannot currently claim that every page, PDF or feature has been independently tested or fully conforms to a particular accessibility standard.

Possible limitations may include:

Some downloadable PDFs not being fully optimised for screen readers
Some images requiring improved text descriptions
Some third-party tools having accessibility limitations
Older or decorative content not meeting every recognised accessibility recommendation
